During Tammie’s visit to the National Building Museum, she met with President and Executive Director Aileen Fuchs to discuss their shared mission of inspiring the next generation of builders, makers, and leaders. They explored ways to align the themes of Breaking Ground, Breaking Glass Ceilings with the Museum’s educational initiatives, particularly in preparation for Tammie’s participation in the 2025 Big Build Exhibition. Together, they’re working to create experiences that empower young people—especially girls—to see themselves in construction and design, and to provide the tools and encouragement needed to succeed in these fields.
